During my recovery from panic disorder, I wrote and wrote and wrote in journals. I found this to be very therapeutic. My journals form the backbone of my book. I included key journal entries in my book so that my readers could get a glimpse of my reality at that time, and perhaps feel less alone in their journeys towards healing.
Journal writing is wonderful because there are no rules. Your journal is simply an outlet for whatever is going on in your brain and in your heart.
Journal entries may be, but are not limitied to:
- dreams
- thoughts
- meditations
- successes
- goals
- shopping lists
- pictures
- doodles
- songs
- poems
- self-portraits
- plans
